Cordoba Capital - Appointment of Lucy Thomson

Cordoba Capital is pleased to announce the appointment of Lucy Thomson as Director - Office Environment Finance.

Lucy, who joins the company from a lease finance intermediary, has held a number of key sales roles within the office furniture and interiors sector during
the last 10 years.

Commenting, Lucy said:

July 2007 - Cordoba Capital expands into Communications Finance

Already within its first few months of operation, Cordoba Capital is establishing a presence within the Communications marketplace, at both vendor and manufacturer level.

Commenting, Cordoba Capital Managing Director Glyn Meredith said; " This demonstrates our committment to provide a genuine differentiation in our sales-aid finance offering. Both technology and other assets can always benefit from linking the sales process to a finance facility, but this also needs to take account of the customer's specific needs. 2nd April 2007 - Cordoba Capital opens its doors!

When Cordoba Capital commenced in business on the 2nd April, it was a case of 'Back to the Future' for Group Managing Director, Peter McDonnell. Prior to setting up Cordoba in 2002 and his time with Blue Arrow, Peter had spent 14 happy and successful years in the leasing industry.

Commenting, Peter said 'Since establishing Cordoba, I have always been keen to expand the scope of services that the group can provide. I believe that there is an opportunity for a leasing company that can also provide additional consultative and training expertise to both vendor's and direct customers. "Added-value" can be a bit of a cliché but we know that we can also assist our leasing partners and customers in their training and recruitment requirements'

The new leasing company, one of the few based in central London, will work closely with vendors and direct customers to fulfill their asset finance requirements. Heading the new company is Glyn Meredith, who has many years of sales-aid experience working both with manufacturer / vendor schemes and direct customers.
